Padmasan
The Lotus Pose is one of the best known yoga postures. It is conducive to meditation. It is easy to achieve this pose when the hips, knees, and ankles are made flexible through practice.

Vajrasan
Vajram means thunderbolt. Practicing this pose makes the back straight and strong. It is very effective for bowel movements. To achieve this pose, develop flexibility in the calves and ankles.

Bitilaasan
The Cow Pose is usually practiced together with the Marjariasan (Cat Pose). The Cow-Cat pose strengthens the spine and neck. This pose gets intense with practice.

Adho Mukha Shwanasan
Downward Facing Dog is an extremely popular pose. It can become intense with practice. It stretches the entire back from the heel to the head.

Veerabhadrasan 2
This is the second of the Veerabhadrasan postures, and stretches the entire body. This posture straightens the torse-leg alignment, and gives balance.

Parshvakonasan
The Side-Angle pose stretches the entire flank, and the thighs. It gives confidence in balance. It can be intensified by reaching to the ground with the hand.
